Lizzie Morgan is a filmmaker and writer based in Brooklyn, NY. Her short films SLIP and IT’S NOT YOU, IT’S HER (produced by La Loba Films) excelled in the festival circuit, with the latter going on to receive a buying deal from Sony Pictures. Lizzie also works in the commercial and music video world, with works featured on Billboard and Rolling Stone. She’s a proud graduate of NYU Tisch School of the Arts where she studied acting in the Meisner Studio, and Shakespeare at the Royal Academy of Dramatic Art in London.
One of her latest directing projects, THREE WAYS OUT (produced by Zach Freier-Harrison and Jessie Jennison), will be premiering this fall at Dances With Films NYC, and she has just completed her first self-written narrative project, MAN’S BEST FRIEND. Not only does she act in the film, but she co-directed and co-produced the project with longtime friend and collaborator, Grace Rao. Lizzie has also been appearing throughout the horror-comedy festival scene as “Lana” in MK Kopp’s slasher short, CHIPPER. It took home the audience award for Best Horror Short at Chain Film Festival in NYC, and was a selection for the horror short program at the Nashville Film Festival.
